1. Allgemein ("General symptoms" nach Kent) Hierunter werde alle Symptome eingeordnet, die den Menschen in seiner Gesamtheit betreffen.* 

2. Durchschnittssymptome ("Common symptoms" nach Kent) Hierunter werden die für die Krankheit selbst typischen Symptome eingeordnet. 

3. Lokalsymptome ("Local symptoms" nach Kent) Hierunter werden sämtliche lokal begrenzten Symptome eingeordnet
